Debate #1
09.30.04 (8:12 pm)   [edit]

I'm predicting that tonight Kerry is going to "lose it" like Mike Tyson did against Evander Holyfield.  I don't think he will bite President Bush's ear, but I am expecting him to break the rules in some way, or another.

Okay, Kerry (in my humble opinion) won on performance, but President Bush won the debate on substance.  I think that Kerry really is an exceptional debater, but what does being a MasterDebater have to do with being the commander in chief?

Open your eyes B4 you vote!!!
09.30.04 (4:28 am)   [edit]

Before Clinton’s heart attack, he was jogging in New York City and came to a corner where a young boy was trying to give away a litter of puppies. B. C. stopped and commented on how cute the puppies were. Unfamiliar with this man, the youngster asked if he wanted to take one home explaining that these were Democrat puppies! Declining, Bill assured the kid he should have no problem finding homes for the critters, then left and told Hillary about the incident. Two weeks later, while Hillary was jogging, she passed a boy with puppies on a corner and stopped to inquire if these were the Democrat puppies her husband told her about; responding, the boy told the unfamiliar woman these are Republican puppies. Confused, Hillary question the lad about the Democrat pups, to which the boy submitted that these used to be Democrats, but have since opened their eyes!

By Golly, I want a president who isn't afraid to use Botox & sunless tanning lotion.  Kerry is so much cooler than President Bush.  After all coolness is what this election is about, right?

John Kerry is a gundecking sea lawyer
09.27.04 (7:52 pm)   [edit]

WAFFLE HOUSE

John Kerry does not discuss his six years as an assistant DA, his years as Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor to Michael Dukakis, or his 20 years in the Senate. In fact, Kerry devoted all of 30 words to his entire Senate career in his more than 5,000 word Democratic convention acceptance speech. He avoids discussing his past for good reason: his record is weak.

Instead, Kerry has campaigned almost exclusively on his four months in Vietnam. He's made it the foundation of his presidential run. And he's challenged critics to review the records. We took him up on his challenge and uncovered official documents that contradict his versions of events.

For Navy and Marine Corps veterans, there are two slang terms in Navy lexicon that come to mind when observing John Kerry.

The first is "gundecking." Gundecking is the falsifying of official records and reports, usually to cover-up a wrong doing or to make one look better than he is. Extensive records review shows Kerry guilty of gundecking his military career.

The second term is "sea lawyer." A sea lawyer is one who uses semantics, parsing of words, wordplay and other tricks of language in an attempt to mislead someone as to the truth. Kerry has been a member of the "Sea Lawyer Bar" his entire life.

Simply put, John Kerry is a deeply flawed man who has had a lengthy political career free from serious scrutiny. But that has changed. While the partisan press has given him a free ride, those who know better, know better. John Kerry is a gundecking sea lawyer.

Kerry on the attack
09.24.04 (1:37 pm)   [edit]

During a 1997 debate on CNN's "Crossfire," Sen. John Kerry, now the Democratic presidential nominee, made the case for launching a pre-emptive attack against Iraq.
S o reveals Rep. Peter King, New York Republican, who appeared with Mr. Kerry on the program.
M r. King says the U.N. Security Council had just adopted a resolution against Iraq that was watered down at the behest of the French and the Russians. Yet the candidate who now criticizes President Bush for ignoring French and Russian objections to the Iraq war blasted the two countries, claiming that they were compromised by their business dealings with Baghdad.

"We know we can't count on the French. We know we can't count on the Russians," said Mr. Kerry. "We know that Iraq is a danger to the United States, and we reserve the right to take pre-emptive action whenever we feel it's in our national interest."

The bizarre candidacy of John Kerry - By David Limbaugh
09.14.04 (9:42 pm)   [edit]

Remember when former Sen. Bob Kerrey said that Bill Clinton was an "unusually good liar – unusually good"? Well, surely by now Democrats realize that John Kerry is an unusually bad candidate – unusually bad. Just consider:

1)    Kerry's never said why he should be president, other than to fulfill a lifelong dream. He inappropriately boasts of his war heroism, when experience tells us that authentic heroes rarely brag about their heroism.

2)   The Swift Boat Veterans have deeply discredited numerous parts of his Vietnam record, but Kerry hasn't even attempted a factual rebuttal to any of the charges. He has been forced to admit – despite testifying the memory was "seared, seared in me" – he wasn't in Cambodia, Christmas 1968 at the orders of Richard Nixon, who wasn't yet president.

3)   He's had to virtually admit that no hostile fire accompanied his first Purple Heart incident, meaning he didn't deserve that award.

4)   He has personally attacked President Bush's National Guard Service and V.P. Cheney's "five deferments" and contrasted it with his volunteering for two tours of duty in Vietnam. But he hasn't answered John O'Neill's charge that his first tour was 100 miles off the shore of Vietnam and he didn't volunteer for service until he was about to be drafted. Besides, who in their right mind would believe that Kerry would volunteer to risk his life in a war he adamantly opposed?

5)   He either perjured himself in his anti-war testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in admitting to committing atrocities or he actually committed those atrocities, which is worse. POWs have said their communist captors used his slander of our troops against them.

6)   He was present at a meeting of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War where assassinations of public officials were discussed. Whether or not he voted against them or left the meeting, he has never explained why he associated with such a group of sadistic thugs.

7)   He admitted to being in Paris and having "talked with both delegations at the peace talks, that is to say the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the Provisional Revolutionary Government." Under whose authority? For what possible legitimate purpose?

8)  He castigates President Bush – preposterously – for having no plan to win the peace in Iraq. But he's never explained how he would be qualified to plan for any peace, given his disastrous predictions of no bloodbath or refugee problem upon U.S. withdrawal from Vietnam.

9)   He was rated the most liberal senator in 2003 by the nonpartisan National Journal. And that doesn't even begin to tell the story of his egregiously anti-defense and anti-intelligence record for his entire 20 years in the Senate.

10) He has failed to denounce Michael Moore's deceits, but demands that President Bush denounce the Swiftees' truths.

11)  He insists Iraq isn't part of the War on Terror, yet claims we've lost 1,000 people in the War on Terror.

12)  He hasn't explained how his Silver Star citation was signed by Navy Secretary John Lehman years after the fact when Lehman denies signing it. He also hasn't explained how a "combat V" was affixed to the citation when such designations never accompany a Silver Star. Where's Dan Rather?

13)  He refuses to release all his military and medical records and hides behind his biographer Brinkley, who contradicts him saying Kerry alone possesses authority over his records.

14)  He brutalized V.P. Cheney for saying America would be safer under Bush-Cheney, but in the next breath said he would make America safer.

15)  He swears he voted for the Iraq war resolution because President Bush promised he'd attack only as a last resort. Since there were no such conditions in the resolution and no one else corroborates his claim, are we to assume Bush gave Kerry these assurances confidentially based on their close friendship?

16)  He says he won't delegate our national security to other nations, but never stops complaining, essentially, about President Bush's failure to delegate our national security to other nations.

17)  He claimed foreign leaders prefer him for president. What was he doing talking to them, under whose authority and about what?

18)  He has been ducking the press for over a month after excoriating President Bush for hiding from the press. He won't answer "hypotheticals" about what he'd do on fundamental issues as president.

19)  He says he has a plan to withdraw troops, but when pressed admits he won't know enough about the conditions on the ground until he's president.

20)  He admitted that life begins at conception, but is pro-abortion anyway.

21)  He has made incredibly destructive and bogus claims about GOP plans to disenfranchise a million black voters.

22)  He has said President Bush isn't being tough on North Korea, when before Democrats were mortified at his "reckless" saber rattling against that nation.

Are you dizzy yet?
